Itsa bummer that the food quality has gone bad. They changed some things up and not for the better. Prices go up and food quality down. It's just too bad because it's a fun place to go with old school vibes. Just get a root beer and enjoy the parking lot....
Fact # 1 - I hate root beer. This has been true for 40+ years. Fact #2 - Fact 1 is now invalid. Stopped by B-K Root Beer after an away baseball game in the area with my son. We immediately ordered 2 dogs a piece (Spanish and Spanish jalapeño) and some fries. I was sweet talked into ordering a homemade root beer (see Fact 1). The food was fantastic! The Spanish sauce was the perfect hotdog topping with or without cheese. He jalapeños were a nice touch if you like a little kick to your food. The root beer was THE surprise of the day. I will come back to this establishment for MORE. I now like exactly 1 root beer, and B-K Root Beer is the only place that serves it. Thanks for convincing me to try your homemade delight.
Pulled in at 7:03 and a young man came right out to let us know they took their last order at 7:00…really??? If you advertise you are open until 8:00, you should be open until 8:00, they turned away 3 cars (customers) while we were there for a minute!
